I got up even before the dern chickens yesterday morning to go scout out a place to shoot Uncle Pete’s latest passenger special. When I arrived here at Snokomo Rd there was a heavy mist floating just above the fields, and I thought this could be a really unique series of shots. When I heard this train coming through town I was praising my great good fortune. It turned out to be a false alarm, although I did go ahead and shoot this stacker. Who wouldn’t?

My intended target, UP’s Engineering Special would appear just under an hour later. And I correctly assumed the mist would be burned off by that time…

1. & 2. UP 2631 leads a 1x1 stacker eastbound, approaching and passing the Snokomo Rd crossing at Paxico, KS at 6:27 AM. The special would follow 59 minutes later.

3. At 6:38 AM Mr Sol joins the party amidst further proof that “No matter where you go… there you are”.

Added: I Think if you were to put a whole mess of them on an HO layout you would probably have a forest🌲🌲🌲

Was wondering what your answer would be.  Never thought it would be what it was.  Of course your mind works opposite of most other people.  This is meant to be a compliment.........
