That Showroom Shine
Author: DLWPocono

Last Saturday Wabtec in Fort Worth had new (or rebuilt) locomotives for BNSF, NS and UP ready to go. These included new BNSF 3684 (ET44C4) and rebuilds NS 4358 (AC44C6M) and UP 7209 (C44ACM). Maybe my mind was playing tricks with me but I could swear I smelled fresh paint!
Good to see the plant keeping busy.. Also outside were approximately 12 more NS Dash 9's waiting their turn.

ET44C4, AC44C6M and C44ACM? This is why I can't handle diesel spotting anymore. Who can remember all that!!
Nice looking trio though. Good photo!

For me it's easy. Different strokes for different folks! Those locos look nice!

I’m with you on that, fortunately I was close enough to read the model designation on the BNSF and UP units and used Chris Toth’s website for the NS. Way too much for me to remember without help!

But do they have that "new train smell" inside the cab?
