Western Railroad Discussion > But it was sunny when I left the house...Date: 09/13/20 13:32 But it was sunny when I left the house... Author: santafe199 …maybe a couple of hours ago
Amazing how fast clear & sunny Kansas weather can turn into this witch’s stew less than 40 miles away, as the fabled crow flies... 1. A little action going on at the east siding switch: This is the scene looking NNW from the 118th Rd crossing. And thar might be sumpthin’ nasty a-brewing upstairs… 2. UP 8764 has command of an eastbound manifest approaching 118th Rd @ 140mm, and… 3. …again @ 52mm. (3 photos at Cook, KS on August 1, 2020) Thanks for the umbrella! Funny thing about that. You did right; took the photos anyway. Thanks for the interesting post. ALLEN Date: 09/14/20 06:44 Re: But it was sunny when I left the house... Author: WW Those are great storm light photos, far more interesting than "sunny day" shots.
