The high-low was 72-49 with .13 of rain. A cold front passed thru the area in the early morning changing the direction of the wind. This cleared up most of the smoke this afternoon. We can finally can see and breathe outside without a , Yea! It's been a rough week plus with all the thick smoke. Finally got to open up the house for an airing out. Here are some trains from today and the last couple of days. Filtered out some of the smoke in some pictures.
9/17/2020 1. WB 445pm 3x3x1 Mega grain/intermodal train with BNSF 5260-5810-6877 on the point with DPU's. Smoke filtered. 2. Middle DPU's BNSF 6511--6820 on same train. Smoke filtered. 3. 11. DPU's BNSF 5746-6596 on same train. Was so smoky on Friday went to Spokane for food shopping. 9/19/2020 12. WB 920am grain train with BNSF 7041-5033 on the pull with DPU. We're planning a trip to Montana in a week and are hoping things will be smoke-free.
