Western Railroad Discussion > CP signals on the River Sub in Minnesota

Hello all.  Been offline for almost a year, but am back.

I have noticed starting late last year that CP has started replacing signals along the River Sub along the Mississippi River with new LED type signals.  Interestingly, early installs were up around Frontenac and Lakeview with new signals at Frontenac East and Lakeview West, with the old signals remaining in place on the other end of the respective sidings.  This year, new intermediate signals have gone in along the line, leaving the siding control points with the older signals for the moment.  Also no new signaling through Winona to this point.  Has anybody heard what the plan is for the CP?  They seem to moving rather slowly on this project.  Thanks!
