Monday Meets: Under a gray sky
Author: santafe199

This ‘meet shot’ is a rerun from about 7 years ago. I had the unique experience of showing up at a favorite location and less than 5 minutes later having 19 keeper shots in the bag, including a dual rolling meet underneath a very dramatic morning sky. Here’s a handy link: ( https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,2960153,2960153#msg-2960153 ).

1. BNSF 4845 is on an eastbound baretable train, rolling away from my camera. It’s about to meet BNSF 6146 on westbound coal loads. Meanwhile upstairs, Mother Nature is pondering whether or not to dump down on my entire parade…

A beautiful meet image, Lance. The sky and lighting adds so much feeling and anticipation to the scene. Thanks for a job well done!

What a great shot!  That it was of a rolling meet makes your composition on the fly even more impressive
