Thanks to Jeana Clark/Kiowa County Signal, this current Fall scene looking westward into Haviland, KS on the UP's ex- Rock Island GSR (Golden State Route).  As the sun is setting behind the Haviland Telephone Company's communications tower this view follows after dropping down from the hill 1/2 mile east of the city limits only to then climb a minimal grade westward only, to pass the Main St. crossing and by the Allance Ag Coop grain elevator and their multi-track yard for building unit grain trains.
