There's a train coming!
Author: santafe199

Do you remember the last time you yelled out “there’s a train coming”? With your adrenalin pumping??? I’ll bet it was when you were still a little kid…

1. Looking west along Rock Rd on the SE corner of Concordia, KS. Out of frame, a grain empty is about to enter the crossing on its way into town, and ultimately up to Superior, NE at the top of BNSF’s Strong City Sub.
Photo date: August 28, 2020.

Stop, Look & Listen! (especially when you’re a railfan… ;^)

A great image, something we have all seen countless times but you were the one to capture and share it.
Great composition and timing, well done.
You did have wonderful light and sky to work with.

I agree as well 66, until I find out it was some type of "malfunction?" and they go back up after several seconds with no train in sight.. Darn it!
Has happened to me twice while visiting Quincy, WA.

Great photo 199 Lance!
