Western Railroad Discussion > Old EMD blue prints.Date: 11/12/20 10:57 Old EMD blue prints. Author: pedrop Sometimes ago I saw an EMD export model blue print on e-bay. It was from a B12 model exported to EFVM in Brazil. Does somebody know where it is possible of find more blue prints like this?

Author: HotWater I generated a list, in alphabetical order by railroad, of hundreds and hundreds of EMD Styling & Painting drawing numbers, including General Arrangement drawing numbers by model. I still have the list, up-staires in my collection of EMD records. Any specific railroad Styling & Painting you are interested in, I probably can provide the EMD drawing number.
That said, I doubt that Progress Rail (former EMD) has kept ANY of the very old drawings from the 1940s through the 1990s, unless they were all converted to microfilm. I'm always looking for other Canadian related prints, with CN GMD-1, any British Columbia Railways, or Northern Alberta Railways diagrams being must haves!!

Sorry. I checked my multi-page list, and there do not appear to be ANY export units. Obviously I was only looking up "domestic" rail customers for their Styling & Painting drawing numbers during the early 1970s through the late 1980s, when I was working daily in the the LaGrange offices. |
