Author: Ritzville

It was a partly cloudy to cloudy breezy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 41-31 with .33 of rain yesterday. More rain on the way.Yesterday was a rainout, so went food shopping in Spokane. Traffic is at 20 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some of the trains from today and the last couple of days.

1. WB 258pm coal train with BNSF 5614-4082 on the point with DPU's.
2. DPU's BNSF 6950-6027 on same train.
3. WB 427pm ballast train with BNSF 4107-7129 on the pull with no DPU in low light. Sorry, the low light brought on the blur.

Lance,

These two units have been going to/from the MRL and Pasco for a week now that I know of.  Larry caught the M-PASLAU-1-05A with the 4316-4403.

LAUPAS/PASLAU trains have gotten MRL power to go as far as Pasco before turning back to the MRL.  I believe MRL might owe BNSF HPH or not.

When the MRL SD40's a few years were floating back and forth between the MRL and Pasco, Larry got them a few times at Ritzville in daylight.

Pedro,

BNSF carries wheat (lots of it as Larry pointed out.), corn and peas that I know..
