My latest work - Burlington Route

Running wrong main so a passenger train or two can overtake?

When I was a kid 97 regularly would be routed wrong main between Prairie du Chien and La Crosse so 31 could overtake.

NIce picture. The CBQ called their cabooses waycars--don't know. I was working at Northtoiwn whent he first BN 97 arrived. The engineer called and said what should be do the our motors (locomotives) and waycar (caboose). Both stayed on the train.
