White powder... what the heck?
Author: ssw

All of a sudden, some white stuff started falling from the sky, and sticking to the ground, to the tune of 4-6" here in Central Texas. That required getting out to take some photos along the BNSF's Ft. Worth subdivision between Manhattan siding and Moody, TX.

1- southbound FPPX coal train, between McGregor and Crawford, TX
2- SB coal, North Moody
3- NB Manifest , at Moody, TX

1- Coal and manifest meet at Moody,
2,3 - manifest just north of Manhattan siding.

That's all the trains I found in the snow. Now I'm trying to thaw out!

Growing up in Southern California, the first time I saw snow fall it was June in the Sierras and for a few minutes I wondered if it was ash as that is a normal thing in CA.
January in Ft. Dix, NJ basic training rapidly completed my education.
Neat pix, thanks for sharing.

Nice job Bradley. Had some flurries, but nothing stuck up here in Keller.

Bradley, thanks for getting out in the snowstorm and nailing those BNSF trains.  Hope you enjoyed a hot chocolate by the fire after your frosty adventure.

All neat shots.  I like #6 best.  Not hard to tell that snow was major league WET!
