Western Railroad Discussion > Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside SubDate: 01/17/21 15:23 Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: Ritzville It was a cool foggy to partly cloudy day in Ritzvuille, WA on the BNSF Northern Transcon. The high-low was 41-32. The thick fog finally cleared for the WB 1123am train. Traffic is at 25 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some of this weekend's trains.

Date: 01/17/21 15:29 Re: Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: Ritzville With the low light there is a slight blur on the next three and last three pictures.

7. WB 1123am manifest train with BNSF 5286 and CN 2660 on the point with no DPU. There is a WB on the way with solid CN power and DPU. With Murphy's Law, probably will show in low light or darkness. Seems to work that very often. 8. Another shot of CN 2660 on same train. 9. Older hopper rolling in same train. Date: 01/17/21 15:44 Re: Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: Ritzville 10. WB 101pm manifest train with BNSF 7275-610 on the pull with DPU's.
11. DPU's BNSF 6571-7983 on same train. 12. EB 121pm garbage/manifest train with BNSF 5232-3789 on the point with no DPU. Date: 01/17/21 15:48 Re: Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: Ritzville 13. EB 131pm grain train with BNSF 7447-4131-5167 on the pull with no DPU.
14. EB 143pm grain train with BNSF 7822-9285 on the point with DPU. 15. DPU BNSF 5900 on same train. Date: 01/17/21 15:53 Re: Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: Ritzville 16. WB 209pm 3x3x3 Mega grain train with BNSF 9016-9714-4055 on the pull with DPU's. Rare to see WB Mega trains.
17. Middle DPU's BNSF H1 1061-3951-7127 on same train. 18. End DPU's BNSF 8259-7715-6187 on same Mega train. That's it for this weekend. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Good stuff as always Larry. Date: 01/18/21 07:23 Re: Closing The Weekend On BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: pedrop Good catch of the garbage train. I saw some UP garbage trains in Alburn yard WA in 2011. In general, where they come from and where they go?

MOst of the time they are part of the SPOPAS and then continue to Roosevelt alone. The empties generally head Eb on the PASSPO.
