Looks like maybe the former ZKCBR traffic is behind the mid-train DPU now that UP combines that former train's traffic with the ZG1BR at North Platte (don't usually see Schnieder National on UP's PNW-Chicago route).

When I saw this combined train a few times last summer and fall, the ZKCBR traffic would be, as a rule, ahead of the DPU. (Those Schneider containers were sometimes right up on the front.) But on this one from a couple of days ago, as well as the subsequent day's train (the ZG1BR that arrived yesterday evening) the KC traffic indeed appeared to be behind the DPU. So perhaps a change has been made in this regard. |
