Western Railroad Discussion > Snow???

The Portalnd Oregon area is being hammered with snow, shutting down much of everything.  A quick trip yesteray to Wally-World and we found the Portland & Western daily local being put into the passing siding in Saint Helens, OR.  18 loads of logs and finished lumber roll along behind the SD/GP pair to where they will be tied down until ???.

yes, a winter "wonderland" here in Portland, Oregon.....a couple of weeks ago the logs showed a bit of burn. we these also?    Arlen

The logs appearance hasn't really changed that I have noticed.  I will have to watch.  Colud be some that come off the A&E are burned while the logs from Eugene aren't??  Today, looks lieka stay home kind of day.  We have 6 inches on cars that were cleared off yesterday.  Makes me remember why I no longer live in Colorado.
