WP Heritage through Dunsmuir this afternoon

With the Spring like weather we are getting up here I figured a few pixels of my favorite unit were in order. This shot is at MP330 as the train is climbing the grade out of the Sacramento River Canyon. On this stretch of track the train is facing south so the Sun is just about perfect around high noon.  However it is a bit of a walk for a guy that been home bound for quite a while.

Really nice, lots of elements here. I feel your pain, I too have been getting out more after being homebound long enough, and notice it is harder than it used to be to hit some of my old haunts. Just need more practice to get back in shape.
