A few recent shots of Tacoma Rail.

1) From a few days ago, TR 2200 and 2201, Eco units, are pulling empties from U.S. Oil.

2) Yesterday (2/23) I found the SD70ACe-P4's getting a low elevation workout.   Here they are putting away the UP's IBASE intermodal train, or at least the Tacoma portion of it.   This is Port of Tacoma Rd, and the truckers are certainly not enjoying this scene as much as I did. 

3) Train is clear of the street, and they're off!

4) The train was long enough to use 3 tracks, so I had plenty of time to get set up a little further down Port of Tacoma Rd.  In the background a RO-RO ship is being escorted out to the bay, leaving the EB-1 terminal, which is also serviced by Tacoma Rail, building autorack trains for the UP. 

5) Here they are passing the Evergreen Terminal.

6) An hour later, there was one more task before going for coffee.  Switch a couple of cars.   The power is longer than the rolling stock!
