Possible snow on the way. Traffic is at 26 trains since midnight with more on the way. Trying to catch up on the few days.
2/22/2021 1. Grab shot of EB 315pm manifest train with BNSF 6622-7042-7517-6753-8550-7818 on the point with no DPU. 2. EB 325pm grain train with BNSF 7041=6927 on the pull with DPU. 3. 7. WB 844am grain train with BNSF 6109-6214 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-toot-wave from the hogger. 8. WB 910am garbage/manifest train with BNSF 6833-6236 on the pull with no DPU. 2/24/2021 9. EB 1035am auto train with BNSF 8185 on the very point of 2 units with DPU. Did a small chase towards Paha and Lind, WA to catch light power move of 8 units. I missed it in the backyard. so had to chase it for a bit. 17. Chasing 8 unit light power move at 75MPH. Roadrailer, I have only seen a few in my time near the tracks in Cheney, Wash. Extra power is usually put onto trains heading east or west.. SP8100 |
