Perfect timing! This was one of the few meets we got while visiting Hill 582 on Cajon Pass Sunday afternoon.

- Cool shots, what’s really neat is that the Santa Fe stack train that was running 2+3 Eastbound confused me at first but a bit later saw the manned 2 motor helper set heading light back West. So I guess Tehachapi, Cajon and Beaumont all use manned helpers when needed.

I thought that this was two separate meets until I realized that the last picture showed the DPUs rather than the head ends.  At least with a caboose you could tell one end from the other.
