You Have Time? I Have Slides!
Author: bbethmann

At age 74, I am finally throwing in the towel on doing anything further with my rather extensive slide collection from the '81-'82 time period, all taken by me (yikes) in the Cajon Pass area and adjacent locations. The slides have been catalogued and referenced with info on almost all slides and have been keep in sleeves, in binders and in the dark..... so they are in good condition. I will send free to a responsible party who will treasure the collection..... otherwise who knows where they will end up as I don't have family who is the least bit avid about railroad pictures.

PM me if interested.

Hi Bill,

You're facing the issue many of us have, what to do with all our railroad stuff as we get older!

I have an extensive collection of railway slides myself, from Britain, India, West Virginia and Chicago, mostly in Agfachrome, Ektachrome and Kodachrome.  I'm sure you'll get plenty of offers, I'm just putting my hat in the ring if you care to consider an offer from me to be custodian of your collection.

Take care,

Tim

The non-profit Los Angeles Union Station Historical Society would be honored to expand our Southern California collection with your slides. If the idea appeals to you, please check our website  www.launionstationhs.org and then PM me. Regards.
