Farmrail 169 SW-9 Refurbished 9 April 2021

Farmrail 169, SW-9 built 1951, has been refurbished and nears completion at Clinton, Oklahoma, shop 9 April 2021 .  The Farmrail Clinton Shop boys have done a remarkable job.

That pike's units seem to always beautifully maintained.

Looks very good. Alterations to the locomotive cab are interesting. Remote control? AC it appears. The additional windows show some extra care.

That outfit must be very pleased with that SW9 as they sure have put a lot of work into it and must be hoping to get many more years of service out of it.   She will be turning 70 years old in October.   When you compare the current view to older photos of the former Seaboard Coast Line/Atlantic Coast Line unit you can make out quite a few changes to its outward appearance completed in the several years it looks like it may have taken to finish the refurbishment.
