MRL Tribute Units
Author: mtgteam2

I recently returned for a nice trip through the midwest. One of my photographic goals for this trip was getting some photos of MRL's First Responders and Veterans Units. I had heard that they were running on the ML/LM and since I was in Billing and I had a Saturday ay my disposal I decided to head west from Laurel in hopes I might see them. I was fortunate for a number of reasons, A. they were running together as the sole power of the ML, the Missoula to Laurel freight. B. The rear car was a locomotive crane which had a speed limit. C. Lastly they had to be recrewed in Livingston in the morning so they were headed east into the sunlight. First three photos of 8 total.

Photo 1: Just a few miles east of Livingston
Photo 2: Along the Yellowstone River just east of Elton
Photo 3: Springdale, MT

They were parked near the turntable in Missoula this morning when I drove past the yard W/B on the freeway.
