Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF H-EVELVJ with 3 SD75'sDate: 05/15/21 14:32 BNSF H-EVELVJ with 3 SD75's Author: BrianA 1) Photographed yesterday 5-14-21 at Puyallup, WA was southbound BNSF H-EVELVJ (Everett to Longview Jct WA) with 278/279/255 and some interesting cars behind.
2) Brand new covered hopper ITFX 7043 has a Milwaukee Road look to it with the rib sides. 3) TILX 24042 appears to be a ballast car. First one like this that I have seen. I like the cover over the air tank. Brian Ambrose Renton, WA Date: 05/15/21 16:16 Re: BNSF H-EVELVJ with 3 SD75's Author: Ritzville NICE catch Brian, good looking train!
Larry Date: 05/15/21 18:21 Re: BNSF H-EVELVJ with 3 SD75's Author: up833 The latest batch of BNSF grain hoppers also have those ribs. Wonder who the mfg is?

The ITFX car above looks like a TrinityRail product: https://www.trinityrail.com/5459-covered-hopper/ Not all new covered hoppers with horizontal ribs are from TrinityRail, however. At least some of the BNSF cars are a different design made by Greenbrier: https://www.railwayage.com/freight/greenbrier-announces-new-covered-hopper-railcar/ https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,5245793 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72nDaOpOrWs Date: 05/15/21 19:57 Re: BNSF H-EVELVJ with 3 SD75's Author: krm152 Nice catch and photos.
