the BS about the fuel saving just doesn't pencil out, the laws of physics aren't on the PR department's side. But, the partnership with GM at least shows that Wactec is headed in the right direction. A "clean" system with new 210 ton all electric freight locomotives and catenary would clean all right, clean out the bank! We need a large scale effort to develop hydrogen sources whcih could produce at econmically viable rates. Just my opinion. Now there seems to be a direct push to get things on the road or rails which ever might be the case. Plenty of talk not much action.
