Western Railroad Discussion > A2A files for Creditor ProtectionDate: 06/24/21 21:37 A2A files for Creditor Protection Author: trainjunkie I've said it would go nowhere every time the topic about a rail connection from Alaska to the rest of the North American rail network comes up and every time, someone criticizes my opinion. But here we are again. Another entity trying to make it happen has imploded.

As I said in this thread, this is just another corporation mining for grant money, spending it on "studies" and "surveying", making their crony consultants wealthy, and pulling the plug when the well runs dry. If this massive project ever happens, it won't be in any of our lifetimes. https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,5065011,5065691 Date: 06/26/21 15:31 Re: A2A files for Creditor Protection Author: NSDTK Any Company who has a 149 million dollar load recalled by the brankruptcy Judge of there Lender is going to file for protection while they work out another venue of funding. The now-departed "founder" appears to have done well out of the deal, though, but those who succeed in selling the Brooklyn Bridge usually do.
