C&NW pile driver in Fort Collins
Author: highgreengraphics

Today UP was working a C&NW pile driver with a tattered C&NW caboose tagging along on the trestle over the Cache La Poudre River on the UP Boettcher Branch in Fort Collins, CO, converting the remaining wood piles into steel I-beams in the main river course. === === = === JLH

Cement place is no longer a factory but just distribution center so may have a decent lifetime.

Great to see the railroad employees actually doing the work.   Most railroads have farmed this type of work out to contractors.
