He had a chance to retire and enjoy the rest of his life, but he didn't make that choice. Furthermore, it's my opinion that what Mantle Ridge (hedge fund who took over CSX) did to EHH was classic elder abuse. Pretty sad to see EHH with breathing tubes "doing" his work for Wall St. So whatever happens to CN, or others who play Wall St. games IS a laughing matter, in a tragicomedy sort of way. Almost anyone knows that 2 years with oxygen burns up your lungs and you will die. It was no surprise when he died.
