Rumors (based on nothing but watercooler talk) are that there's a push to bring Vena back.

I would bet if he could come back from the dead, he would accept the job...

If they want to rehire Harrison, it would not be a problem. Just let him stay in the basement or a 'closed office' and read his latest mandates to the railroad people. Been done before.

Wall Street won’t be happy until they can implode the US economy and take as much money to their own private little islands in the Caribbean as possible.
The 99% OTOH get left holding flaming bags of cat excrement.

Happily brought to you by a Government that gutted banking and Wall Street Regulations over the last 40 years.
But I digress….

Wall Street paid both parties good money to get regulations gutted, unions defanged, etc.

Who do you think buys those $50,000 a plate political dinners?

Thanks for the smiles.

He had a chance to retire and enjoy the rest of his life, but he didn't make that choice. Furthermore, it's my opinion that what Mantle Ridge (hedge fund who took over CSX) did to EHH was classic elder abuse. Pretty sad to see EHH with breathing tubes "doing" his work for Wall St.

So whatever happens to CN, or others who play Wall St. games IS a laughing matter, in a tragicomedy sort of way.

What I remember about EEH  was him being on oxygen for quite sometime and refusing to take a physical for employment and $200 million.  Almost anyone knows that 2 years with oxygen burns up your lungs and you will die.  It was no surprise when he died.  What was a surprise was how dumb the board of directors was in approving the whole thing for his last gig..

Au contaire !

Yea they gave him 300 large, but the stock went up 10B almost immediately just because they attached his name to it.  Pretty smart.
