UP's Plummer turn
Author: swaool

UP's Plummer turn out of Spokane rides high on a former Milwaukee Road trestle at Manito, WA.  UP operates this trackage to interchange with the St. Maries River RR at Plummer ID.  UP GP60 1031 is ex-UP 2089:2, nee-SP 9790 (936428-21, 1/94).

Once upon a time, the UP ran underneath.

UP 1203 is a GP39-2 originally delivered as Kennecott Copper 752 with a high-visibility cab, later rebuilt with a wrecked Milwaukee SD45 cab and sold to MKT as their 383, to become UP 2353.

Very nice....My son and I were out there twice circa 2009/2010 and chased this both times. What a great experience it was.
