Western Railroad Discussion > One-and-Done With Today's UP Passenger SpecialDate: 09/15/21 16:17 One-and-Done With Today's UP Passenger Special Author: TheNavigator UP 4404 pulled a 9-car passenger special from Tucson to Las Vegas today via the Sunset Route, Cajon Pass, and the Cima Sub. I blew my chance to catch it in San Timoteo Canyon account leaving home a few minutes too late and the train traveling waaaaay faster than I expected. But, the day wasn't a total loss as I did manage to salvage it with this shot in Cajon Pass on the Palmdale Cutoff near the north end of Canyon Siding. Trailing 4404 are cars 208, Columbia River, Kennefick, 5769, Green River, Lake Bluff, Walter Dean, City of Denver, and Fox River. Thanks as always for today's heads up.
