Good railfanning house?
Author: santafe199

This image was a complete grab shot! I was heading up US hwy 77 on my way home and caught the glint off the side of this old farm house. I had to do one of my patented U-turns. But I was able to shoot a short series capturing both the sun glint and a train in silhouette. With a year-round view of the ex-Rock Island main line, and a several-months-in-the-year sunset silhouette opportunities this might be some pretty attractive property to a railfan... ;^)

1. UP scene on the huge fill entering Herington, KS from the north. EXIF info: 7:53 PM on August 27, 2021.

Thanks for squinting!

I guess I only taught you how to do one-eighties on ice. Nice sunset.

That would be a nice place to live.  Nice shot, Lance!
