Note construction equipment and new dirt road above the train. New housing development construction has begun-! If they can knock over trains, how will a flimsy house survive????? We have to put limits--can't we have open spaces instead of letting developers touch everything????

There is a real problem with water from wells in that area and across in Blue Mt. Estates. Now is the time to sell lots with rail traffic way down. If things boom again for that line with 24 trains a day again it will be more then coyotes making sounds!

Sonic booms, yes, in fact Edwards AFB has someone assgned to take those calls. Is there a grade crossing on those rails? Bill Deaver Tehachapi, CA Edited 1 time(s). Train traffic; Two Amtrak trains a day, maybe a coal train or two (traffic down), one or two BNSF trackage rights trains per day, and four manifest UP trains a week. Edited 1 time(s).
