Western Railroad Discussion > Interesting little critterDate: 10/10/21 06:56 Interesting little critter Author: dt8089 I did some local (For me) fanning yesterday around Joliet and Wilmington IL. At Lorenzo on the BNSF there is a spur that was built to serve a cold storage warehouse. This unit was brought in to switch it. After business died out, it has been sitting there ever since, From my understanding its a RS-4-TC, A witcomb/Baldwin product built for the military. How it wound up here and its future is unknown to me. Just south of the unit is this crane setup for lifting something heavy. There are several warehouses being built around this area just a few miles west of Logistics Park and this crane may have something to do with it. Take care and be safe out there. Dan Tracy
