.   .   .   nineteen years ago, it was a traffic jam at Basta, CA, on BNSF's San Bernardino Sub. Westbound, close, waiting, westbound far moving, eastbound far coming at us. At the time, the train on the left was negotiating a turnout to the number three main. Today, three tracks all the way from LA. And, most likely, old searchlites are gone.
