Only on the outside! They still shake rattle and roll. I know it's a little newer but I had a 700 series on the point about a week and a half ago. We lost a unit and were down to 10-12 mph from Bieber CA to Halls Flat going to Keddie. She pulled around 1200 amps all the way. 25 miles or so steady as a rock. Usually when we lose a unit on that part of the railroad a stall out ensues near the top at Halls Flat. Could it been because we had the luck of a Warbonnet on our side!?
