Between my first shot of the afternoon & this very last one of the evening there is some deadheading BNSF varnish to see. I still have to sort it all out, so we’ll have to check out this Kansas Sunset instead. An eastbound train woulda been nice, but for now this digital sunset will just have to do...

1. Looking TT-west from the NE 100th St crossing at the former location called Aikman, KS. It’s 5:24 PM on January 14, 2022. That’s KS hwy 177 on the right.

Sorry to 'burst yer bubble' as they say. But yesterday I was down in the Flint Hills (God's country) just for the psgr 'DHQ' thing. I do however, plan on making another snoop mission down there in the next week or so. Maybe when it warms up a bit. It'a amazing how some cold weather will put the brakes on my 66 year old stamina for such activity. It wasn't that way a couple of weeks ago, when I was still 39 & holding... ;^)
