1. This webound train has come over the crest at Summit and is headed for San Bernardino.
2. Same location, an eastbound train is headed for Summit. Both photos taken from Hill 582 in the Cajon Pass.

SD90MAC in the second shot?

Don nice shots but that's way too much light for you!

Regarding UP 8187 I searched online and found both a GE ES44AC, and this SD90/43MAC with the same number 8187.
Did the EMD get retired since this shot was taken? Or vice versa?

The GE is the newer locomotive and the EMD has at least been renumbered if not retired or sold.  This picutre wasn't taken yesterday.  However, I liked both the photos, thanks for posting, Don.
