UP Double Grain Train,Mt.Hood and the Dam

An eastbound double grain train with mid dupe(actually the second train)on the Portland Subdivision at Goff in April 2022.That is the John Day Dam and Mount Hood in the background together with the Columbia River.Bill Webb

Agreed, it's a nice shot.  Myself, I followed behind the power units as far as I could see, then to the right thinking I was seeing a string of hopper cars, then suddenly I learned I was viewing the top of a dam and spillway.  I then put my mind in reverse!!

Today they ran another one with the 7418 leading (4x4) that came off the Brooklyn sub NB than up the Graham line!

Thanks for the post.  I heard about it going through Shedd but it went by in the middle of the night.  Bet that was slow coming off the Brooklyn onto the Graham line!
