Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF OCS at Pueblo Co. this morning

Went to Pueblo this morning to try and get a shot of the EMDX 3008, before it went to the TTC out east of town. Unit was buried deep in the yard, so no shots. But I didn't come home empty handed. Had info  that BNSF had a SB OCS Train on the way, so stuck around abit and got a few shots of it. Here is BNSF ET44C4 3680 in clean paint on La Junta Co bound O GILLAJ2 10A. 9 cars on this one. Word had it it was occupied by the top brass including Katie Farmer. There were  a couple of people in the theater car on rear, but couldn't really make out who.  Made good time as it passed by me here. And here is just north of N.Pueblo Co in this shot. US50 is the hi way in the background one might be able to see. That's Cheyenne Mtn/NORAD on the left rear. Lot more clear out today, no wind to relocate the Sand Dunes out east. Nice one! Funny, though... in all the years I worked at NORAD, we never had as good a view from there to the tracks. Then again we were supposed to be watching for other things...
