Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF coal detour via KCS to Ft. Towson OK

Due to a washout on the Creek sub south of Tulsa.  BNSF ran a second detour train via KCS. This one going to the Coal Plant at Fort Towson OK. 

Loaded coal detour this afternoon coming into Wylie Texas at Brown Street around 6 pm.  Interesting consist with 2 BNSF locos on the head end, and 4 DP locos on the rear pushing this monster followed by a hi-railer all the way to Wylie World.

135 cars, 19305 tons, 7593 ft.  on Wed 05/11/22.

BNSF symbol:  C CAMMAH0 09A 
KCS symbol: FWYDQ-11
DP 2x4. 8523, 8446, 9089, 6351, 9431, 5913.

Not sure why it says DQ for DeQueen. This train will be handed to the Kiamichi at Ashdown AR to Ft. Towson OK.

Nice shots imagine if it was a 200+ car 2x4x2 14,000 ft beast rerouting through Plano on KCS, I can't imagine traffic at the crossings backing up...... Would be a sight to see.
