Author: rrartist Yes sir, Dakota MN my home away from home, waiting in GREAT sun for three eastbound CP trains. The first was CP 260, bound for Kansas City behind the CP 8045, not too bad. The next one was CP 9-148, CP 8149 again in awesome light. Then came CP 40B, CP 7010 also going to Kansas City to meet up with the KCS OCS train. With the arrival of 40B came the clouds. The train was originally scheduled to depart Marquette Iowa this morning at 545am, and I saw the train after 3pm. There was a bit of a discussion about being blocked by CP 260 doing work in La Crescent and the now "way off schedule" 40B. Oh well, my sand had slipped through the hour glass and I needed to get home. There's always the return trip right?!!

They had smaller fuel tanks than later orders of AC4400CWs, so to standardize weight and fuel capacity a new fuel tank was part of the rebuild program
