A few from Arnold Loop, Nevada.
Author: CimaScrambler

1)  Time lapse under moonlight.
2) Daylight with a slow grain train (2x1) grinding up the pass against gravity.
3) The view toward east-southeast where Interstate Highway 80 crosses the valley and dives around a hill to the glowing lights of Wendover, Utah.  High in the sky, the Saggitarius star cloud looks on.
More as I get them processed.

Fine photos. Takes some effort to get there but your photos are worth that.

That's not the real Arnold Loop, is the wind blowing 70 mph? Is it snowing? Is there 1 train every other day? Sheesh,
great pictures but you're not suffering enough!

Composite image from 2 25-second exposures, ISO 3200, f/8, 24mm f/1.4 lens, Canon 6D.  Moonlight from a first-quarter moon on the far valley, EV=-6 or so.

Thanks for sharing Kit. Probably my favorite place on the planet. The view goes
on forever. Just spread my ashes there.

That No. 3 shot should be in every kid's science school book!  Inspirational.

The TV here in Omaha, featured how hard it is to see the stars anymore. One has to get 100 miles from a city to see the heavens unobstructed. Supposedly, 2/3 of the country can NOT do this.
