Western Railroad Discussion > Nighttime H-LAUDEN on BNSF's Front Range Subdivision w/ warbonnetDate: 06/23/22 14:57 Nighttime H-LAUDEN on BNSF's Front Range Subdivision w/ warbonnet Author: jmulhol2 GE ES44C4, BNSF #7063 (built: 07/2012), leads a 3x1, 91-car southbound H-LAUDEN (high-priority manifest freight train from Laurel, MT --to-- Denver, CO) past ~MP70 on the BNSF Front Range Subdivision in South Fort Collins, CO, during the late nighttime hours of 06/21/2022. This train had been tied down in the Owl Canyon siding since morning with headend motor BNSF #7063 idling a few miles down the track to the south at Dixon (crew change point since Owl Canyon is adjacent to Interstate-25). Note the classic "warbonnet" motor third out as well - always a nice treat to see!
