I saw a Lineage reefer truck trailer on the highway near Pasco last Saturday. So apparently rail is not their only line of business any more.

I've seen a number of these in the Coors Yard in Golden, CO. A number of them have already been tagged..... :-(

Yep they sure look nice and clean…but man are they a pain to spot back in tight industries….they’re too doggone long. We used to have these short little 50-60 foot refers that we’d spot up a certain customer with for years…until not long ago these giant behemoths showed up and really made an easy task very difficult. Not a fan. And they’re also very hard to ride.

Sadly those 60's and 70's low capacity reefers are aged out and heading to scrap. Here's a line of aged out cars on the UP in Iowa.

Lineage bought out CryoTrans. These maybe repaints or brand new?

There's a major shipper in Golden CO, let me go grab a beer and think about who that might be? That
line wouldn't last long without Coors.

Lineage has been buying a lot of the cold storage companies and facilities. You see their name everywhere.

Why are they hard to ride?

Too bad some of those older reefers can't get an extension on life--they still look fully usable.  Most of them got rebuilt with new reefer units, too.

The one's in the picture at the top of the thread are really insulated "boxcars", the new century version (Coors have been using these a lot now days).  Lineage also has many new refrigerated cars running now (recent build dates), which look much like these insulated boxcars.  The key give aways, obviously the lack of a refrigeration unit on the rear of the car, and also, the new "boxcars" are a little shorter.

These cars look like they are named as well, correct me if I'm wrong.
