All sorts of modern energy technology is on the menu in this image! We see Uncle Pete hauling a train load of wind farm “body parts”. In the background are the triple stacks from the coal-fired Jeffrey Energy Center which opened in the 1970s. And in the foreground is the err... ummm....... methane-powered contribution toward the overall balance of technology.

1. UP 8996 is eastbound with a wind farm shipment at Aikins, KS while a herd of ‘hambone’ characters mug for my camera...
