Cedar Creek Fire near Oakridge, Oregon
Author: jmsn

The Cedar Creek fire burning east of Oakridge, OR has nearly tripled in size in the last 24 hours to over 75,000 acres. With red flag conditions and today it is continuing its charge westward. Current live-wildfire map shows it burning up to or even spotting over the UP tracks southeast of Oakridge. Does anyone have any info on how this is affecting UP operations, or what they are doing to protect infrastructure?
