Western Railroad Discussion > Tuesday Evening Trifecta at Clarendon HillsDate: 09/15/22 19:41 Tuesday Evening Trifecta at Clarendon Hills Author: kevink If I catch the 5:35 pm Metra BNSF train on the way home, I usually get off the train at Clarendon Hills just ahead of Amtrak train #383, the Illinois Zephyr. Last Tuesday was no exception. What was different was that IDTX 4616 was leading 3 Superliners instead of the usual Amfleet or Horizon cars.
I was hoping that one of the two freights I had seen by Cicero would show up before my ride did but I had to settle for a Metra express behind METX 194 and a late Amtrak #4, the Southwest Chief, behind 3 P42's.
