As of 2230 PDT 9/23/22...

313 BNSF numbered diesel-electric locomotives, totalling 1,071,993 rated horsepower, show to be located at station DONCRE (Donkey Creek, WY).
6 additional "GN" lettered units are also showing DONCRE as their last marked location.

*edit*
For comparison, other BNSF stations showing 100+ BNSF units...

225 units at Alliance, NE
187 units at Barstow, CA
113 units at Cicero, IL
101 units at Galesburg, IL
108 units at Galveston, TX
236 units at Kansas City, KS
108 units at Lincoln, NE
251 units at Northtown, MN
287 units at Topeka, KS

Are these stored units, or a snapshot of what was there at a moment in time?

Just the listed number of BNSF locomotives currently showing (or last known to be) at those listed stations as of the time of query. Not subdivided into active or stored units.

Can you tell BNSF coal traffic is down a reported 30%?  Since UP's coal traffic is down almost a reported 60%, you have to wonder how many they have stored.  Thanks for posting the numbers.
