Western Railroad Discussion > EC-4 headed south, stuck at SheddDate: 10/03/22 22:05 EC-4 headed south, stuck at Shedd Author: roustabout UP's EC-4 geometry car worked north on the Brooklyn Sub a few days ago and was headed south today, although not making very good progress. At about 5:40, the dispatcher called them and told them they'd be going inside at Shedd and to tie it down as a relief crew and a ride had been ordered. I went out around 6:30 and found them at the south end of Shedd near Pugh Dairy Road, waiting patiently. Listening to the road channel, the relief crew was 'getting close' at about 7:10 although I never did hear when they left the siding.
