In #17 the C California St car is traveling west up Sutter St at Stockton.  The old City of Paris department store marks it as Sutter and not Geary.

Thanks Stephanie Ann for the correcton, I was told wrong. When I worked on the Muni it was on Market and on Powel and Hyde sts. I did work the California Cable on the Extra Board. It's been about 50 yrs since working the Cable Cars, mind is a little hazy, lol.

The yellow car next to the bus looks like a Rover P6.  I think these were first made in 1963.

#15 is on Broadway, crossing the 101 Freeway.  In the background is that old building (name escapes me) that sat at an odd angle to all the other buildings downtown.  I guess it's gone now.

 Correction.  The City of Paris Department Store was at Geary and Stockton.  The Muni A, B and C lines ran on Geary, Market St. Ry. Cars   ran on Sutter (but had been replaced by buses at the time this photo was taken).  The track shown coming from the right originally connected the F line on Stockton to Geary so that the F line cars could get back to the carbarn at Geary and Presidio.  It appears the track leading from the inbound track connecting to Stockton St has been removed.  By the way, this F line has no relation to the current F line of historic streetcars on Market St.

Good trains Larry. I like the weed spraying train. Not easy to see them here. Hope you have a good weekend and more nice trains in your backyard.

After doing some investigation, I agree with HT6 Stephanie Ann, that is Geary and Stockton. The double lighted lamp poles were on Geary, Sutter had single armed lamps, plus all the rest of HT6 is correct. There would be no way for the F cars to return to the barn on Sutter.

Ritzville Action
Warm weather and the trains keep coming and going.
Real variety of train consists and motive power arrangements.
Super grain train was especially interesting.
Weed spraying train provides a critical need.

Historic Traction
15 - Bus following streetcar is a GM Model TDH-4801, a California only model;
       little red auto on the expressway is a 1955/56 Ford Thunderbird.
17 - Great scene, They certainly had a traffic jam
19 - Bus #232 really looks out of place in comparison to its surroundings

Thanks for taking your time to post more BNSF action and terrific traction photos.

Thanks Allen for your interesting reviews, bus model and auto ID and year, always appreciated. How'd you like the souped up '49 Olds in #17?

Good looking trains Larry--1 even elephant style power was nice.  Your part of the system gets a lot of good maintenance--cool to see the weed sprayer set.
