San Luis & Rio Grande RR bankruptcy trustee has another bidder - Colorado Pacific RR-!

KCVN is the 100% owner of the Colorado Pacific Railroad, a shortline railroad operating approximately 120 miles of track in southern Colorado. KCVN acquired the Colorado Pacific Railroad in 2018. KCVN is owned by The Soloviev Group.

A formal bid was submitted to the US Bankruptcy Court 2 November 2022.  Case : 19-18905-TBM

He's gonna have himself quite the southern Colorado railroad empire here shortly. And he's interested in running trains, not making trails! That is Great news.

Thanks for the info Chip ...
As of 10/21/22, SLRG was making 3 runs a week 
from Alamosa and the San Luis Valley to Walsenberg.  At that
time Omnitrax was the presumed winning bid 
according to the SLRG Trainmaster ... guess it
ain't over till its over ... LOL

If you want to call the OmniTrax thing a bid, like the railroad would be purchased for just over $1.5M, the
rest to back issues.

How does this bid fit in with Omnitrax's announcement on their website that they have, "Entered into a contract to purchase...the SLRG...?"
